Ontario Historical Society’s Presidents Award for Excellence in Exhibits for its Permanent Exhibit – Mallorytown Glassworks

The Thousand Island River Heritage Society is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the 2024 Ontario Historical Society’s Presidents Award for Excellence in Exhibits for its Permanent Exhibit – Mallorytown Glassworks – Canada’s First – in the Mallory Coach House Museum. A photo of the award is shown below along with some photos of the exhibit. The museum is open Tuesday mornings from now until next summer. Visits are availble at other times by calling 613-923-2251 ext 101.The award was received by the TIRHS Glassworks Committee, on Saturday, Nov. 2 at a cermony in North York, and it will be proudly displayed in the Coach House for all to see.
